Stress Link to Alzheimer’s Goes Under the Spotlight
Chronic stress is being investigated in a new study in the UK as a risk factor for developing dementia. The study will monitor 140 people aged 50+ with Mild Cognitive Impairment over the next 18 months. Researchers will assess participants’ stress levels and any progression from mild cognitive impairment to dementia to determine if stress is a determining factor in the progression of the disease.
