New Study Links Copper Toxicity to Alzheimer’s Disease

Researchers have long been puzzled by the fact that Alzheimer’s disease is only seen in developed countries. It is not seen among the elderly in India and Africa. A new study shows that the answer might be copper toxicity, perhaps from the use of copper plumbing to deliver drinking water, multi-vitamins containing copper and foods with a high copper content.
