Study Looks at Potential Impact of Mineral Water on Preventing Alzheimer’s
A new UK study has been launched in the hopes of finding a positive link between the consumption of mineral water and Alzheimer’s disease prevention. Many scientists have long suspected a link between exposure to aluminum and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease, although it hasn’t been proven. According to researchers, mineral water, which is rich in Silicone has the potential to block aluminum from being absorbed in the body.
It’s Hard Taking a Parent’s Keys
For many elderly individuals, their independence rests in complete access to their personal vehicle. Unfortunately, according to research, one’s risk for being in a car crash increases after age 65, with dementia and Alzheimer’s diagnoses adding another layer of safety issues. Given that there are various stages to each disease, the choice to withhold keys from an Alzheimer’s or dementia patient is dependent upon how far advanced the disease has progressed.
