Lead blogger Erin Whalen, Alzheimer's Care Specialist for Senior Living Residences (SLR), has more than 10 years expertise in activity programming, research, care consultation and public education with Boston University’s Alzheimer’s Disease Center and the Alzheimer’s Association – MA/NH chapter. She joined the SLR team in 2007 to help launch Compass Memory Support – SLR’s cutting edge treatment programming for assisted living residents. Erin also coordinates SLR’s participation in local and national research programs and manages SLR’s public education efforts.
